A foreign investor wants to buy the Ukrainian “daughter” of the Russian “Sberbank”
The national Bank of Ukraine received an application from a foreign investor about a possible purchase of Ukrainian “daughter” of Russian “Sberbank“.
“We now have the address of one potential buyer, we work with him. While anything I can not say exactly”, – said the Deputy Chairman of the national Bank Ekaterina Rozhkova, which quotes “Interfax-Ukraine”.
She said that this is a non-resident who filed the NBU letter of intent. The regulator has not yet submitted a package of documents for approval of purchase.
Earlier in the Russian VTB said that can’t sell its two banks in Ukraine.
