Poroshenko signed a decree on the financing of national security and defense in 2018
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko enacted the decision of national security Council and defence of Ukraine regarding the proposals in the Budget about the funding of the national security and defense in 2018.
The corresponding decree the President signed on September 15.
The document envisages the financing of the security sector and defense of Ukraine in the amount of not less than 5% of GDP. Costs should be at least 165 billion 372 million.

For the Ministry of defense of Ukraine should be provided funding to 81 billion 689,2 million hryvnia at the expense of the General Fund Budget, and 1 billion 625,3 million UAH at the expense of the special Fund.
The national guard of Ukraine have to get 10 billion 354,0 million UAH at the expense of the General Fund Budget and 739 million UAH at the expense of the special Fund.
To ensure the National police of Ukraine shall be provided 24 billion 277,2 million hryvnia at the expense of the General Fund Budget and 90 million hryvnia at the expense of means of special Fund of the state Budget.
The state border service of Ukraine to 2018 should be allocated funding in the amount of 9 billion 10.6 million hryvnias at the expense of the General Fund Budget to 33.2 million – at the expense of the special Fund.
The state service of Ukraine for emergency situations should be provided funding in the amount of 9 billion 774,6 million from the General Fund and 969,4 million hryvnias from the special Fund Budget in 2018.
The security Service of Ukraine planned to allocate 7 billion 491,1 million hryvnia at the expense of the General Fund and 160,9 million UAH at the expense of the special Fund.

2018 is expected to increase GDP by 3%. Inflation in the country slowed down. At the end of the year it will be 11.2%, and in 2018 already 7%. Next year the budget deficit will amount to 2.4% of GDP. The consolidated budget’s revenues will grow by 15%. On social assistance want to highlight the 122.7 billion. 2018 rock, the minimum wage will be 3 723 UAH.
