Saakashvili dismissed his press Secretary for the anti-Semitic entry in the social network
Deprived of Ukrainian citizenship by the former head of the Odessa regional state administration and the former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili dismissed his press Secretary Darya Siskin from the campaign because of the “anti-Semitic” records concerning the President of Petro Poroshenko in the social network.
He said this on his page in Facebook.
“Yesterday (18 September – approx.ed.) I took Dasha Siskin from our campaign because of her statements. We should not be like those who at least hints says on these topics, because these people I consider to be personal enemies”, – he stressed.
Besides, Saakashvili expressed the hope that “we will unite their forces against all such manifestations.”
“Any even the hint of anti-Semitism for me is not only unacceptable, but the essence of my life boils down to struggle against any manifestations of ethnic, religious and racial intolerance,” he added, assuring that it is always “bans” on the page of authors comments on ethnic and religious issues.
In addition, Saakashvili said that the same is unacceptable is that “our 100% Ukrainian team basically and citizenship, called “team Georgian reformers.”
“I’m proud of our Georgian reforms, but it seems to me, in the Ukrainian context the emphasis on “gruzinstvo” is a very different goal,” he wrote.
