In the Donbas the militants tried to capture the Ukrainian position near the village Zhovanka.

“In the area Zhovanki (part adminsostava zaytsevo near Gorlovka occupied – approx.ed.) there was a fighting collision between two small infantry groups of occupants and the protection of the Ukrainian military units defending the southern and Eastern edge of the village,” he said.
According to Tymchuk, the enemy, secretly made friends with the advanced positions of the APU, tried to put the fire defeat of the Ukrainian military, in particular, using rocket-propelled grenades.
“But secretly to reach the planned milestone occupants failed due to the vigilance of the military security units of the armed forces of Ukraine”, – said the MP, noting that as a result of fire fight fighters ATO rejected the attackers to the starting line.
