Lawyer Yanukovych went to Rostov on a meeting with the defendant

The lawyer of fugitive ex-President Viktor Yanukovych Maxim Gerasim expressed a desire to meet with his client. Resulting in the meeting of the Obolon district court of Kiev on charges of treason, Yanukovych was postponed to the morning of October 11. This became known during a meeting held on 5 October.

Referee Vladislav Devyatko at the meeting said that Gerasko gave the court copies of e-tickets from Kiev to Minsk and then to Moscow. And also provided the letter of the law firm “Aver Lex”, which States that telephone conversations with Yanukovych put the client at risk, so a personal meeting is necessary.

The lawyer of ex-President asked to postpone the meeting for October 19, however, the court found it necessary to announce a break till October 11.

Recall that recently the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko told about the confiscated money of Yanukovych and the damage that he has caused the country.
