The state company “Ukrzaliznytsya” plans in 2018 to begin the discussion of higher prices for passenger transportation.
This was announced by acting Chairman of the management Board Evgeny Kravtsov after the government meeting, UNIAN reports.
“By the end of this year we will not increase ticket prices for passengers, and next year we start the discussion, consider classes and levels of service for passengers to change the approaches to pricing”, – said the head of “Ukrzaliznytsya”.
According to him, we are talking about a moderate increase in prices, which will not affect socially important categories of traffic. Kravtsov said that it will primarily affect trains “intercity” trains of category “comfort”.
