Poroshenko will travel to Saudi Arabia and the UAE
In early November the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko scheduled visits to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
About it reported in a press-service of the head of state.
“31 October – 1 November 2017, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the visit talks with the leadership of Saudi Arabia – king Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud and the crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, defence Minister Mohammad bin Salman al Saud,” the statement reads.
According to authorities, during the meetings the two leaders will discuss issues of bilateral investment, trade-economic and military-technical cooperation.
In addition, 1-2 November Poroshenko will make a working visit to the United Arab Emirates.
“The program of the visit includes talks of the head of the Ukrainian state with crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme commander of the Armed forces of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of defence of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum,” – said in the presidential Administration of Ukraine.
As noted, during the negotiations the interlocutors will affect a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in political, security and investment fields.
We will remind, earlier Poroshenko has held a closed meeting with US special envoy Kurt Volker. The parties have coordinated further steps to strengthen the international presence in the Donbas.
