Poland will store gas in the Ukrainian gas storages
Polish gas stored in Ukrainian underground storage facilities.
The agreement was signed by oil and gas company PGNiG and “Ukrtransgaz”, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“The agreement gives PGNiG additional opportunities for the development of trade in natural gas on the Ukrainian market”, – said the Polish company.
We will remind, earlier PGNiG signed an agreement with the “Ukrtransgaz” on the transport of gas via the Ukrainian GTS. Thus, the Polish company will be able to sell gas to Ukrainian consumers not only on the border, as it did before. PGNiG sells gas to Ukrainian consumers from August 2016.
PGNiG is the largest oil company in Poland engaged in the development of oil and gas fields, production, storage and transportation of energy, as well as the construction and development of oil and gas transportation network, export and import of gas.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrtransgaz pumped into underground storage, the first volumes of gas in the “customs warehouse”.
