“Ukrposhta” decided to buy the Bank and develop finuslug
Public joint stock company “Ukrposhta” is set to enter the market of financial services. This was stated by the acting General Director of the enterprise Igor Smelyansky, UNIAN reports.
According to him, now explores several options towards the goal. ”We want to develop financial services. Option a – to prescribed law. If this does not happen, we have the option to buy a Bank. We may not be able to do it, then there is an option In strategic partnership with the Bank that, essentially, the same as option b But prohibit us to do,” he explained.

Smelyanskiy admitted that Ukrposhta is already in talks with some small banks for the purpose of strategic partnerships. During January-September 2017 “Ukrposhta” received 415.5 mln UAH. net loss vs net profit of UAH 15.2 million for the same period in 2016. The company is under the control of the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine and is the national operator of postal communication.
