The European Union allocated to Ukraine by 1.8 billion euros

The European Commission has decided to allocate Ukraine tranche in amount of EUR 1.8 billion.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine.

“Just came out of the communiqué of the European Commission on the basis of my talks during the summit of the Eastern partnership. I want to emphasize that the negotiations were very difficult. Very difficult. The President of the European Commission, the European commissioners in the difficult budgetary situation, which is now the European Union took important decision on granting Ukraine a fourth tranche of macro-financial assistance. The volume, like I said, 1.8 billion euros,” – said Petro Poroshenko.

Earlier, the European Commission adopted the decision on nonpayment of Ukraine of the third tranche of the non-fulfillment of certain requirements. We are talking about the amount of 600 million euros. The EU urged Kiev to intensify the reform process.
