In Georgia predicting the extradition of the leader of the party “new force”, the former head of the Odessa regional state administration of Mikheil Saakashvili, Ukraine.

This was stated by the lawyer Saakashvili Beck of Basilia that protects its interests in the Georgian court, writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“Such illegal actions of the Ukrainian authorities that they could extradite Saakashvili in Georgia, where he in court are conducted several trials. The Prosecutor expressly stated that until the end of December in this case will be rendered on the verdict,” he said.

According to Basilio, the events in Ukraine suspiciously coincide with the judicial process against Saakashvili in Georgia, and the detention policy in Kiev is a violation of the Ukrainian legislation.

In addition, the lawyer said that in court now summarily considered the case of Saakashvili exceeding official powers, in particular, the case of the early pardon of the President of Georgia detained four police officers convicted of killing Bank employee Sandro Girgvliani.

In turn, the Chairman of the legal Committee of the Parliament of Georgia Eka Beselia said that the possible extradition of Saakashvili in Tbilisi can be held in the framework of bilateral interstate cooperation.

“As far as I know, the request to extradite Saakashvili was sent as a Ministry of justice and Prosecutor’s office to the Ukrainian side. In Georgia, informed the court in one of the cases filed against him took a decision on his detention and pre-trial detention, in the case of the Georgian territory”, – she added.
