Walker urged to continue to put pressure on Russia with sanctions
The special representative of the United States of America in Ukraine Kurt Volker said that sanctions against Russia should continue its action for greater pressure.
He said this in an interview with La Stampa.
“It is very important that they remain in force until, until the reasons for which they were entered. The implementation of the Minsk agreements is the key, and its failure is a strong motivation. We should keep the sanctions as long as Minsk is not implemented, because they create an incentive for Moscow to respect the agreement,” said Walker.

According to him, the unity of Europe and America in this matter is crucial. Indeed, in this case, the Kremlin is not able to create in Ukraine a Pro-Russian force. But the overall efforts have helped to create strong anti-Russian government.
Russia for its actions only strengthens his isolation, so the efforts against its actions in Ukraine should force the Kremlin to retreat.

Walker also welcomed the US decision to supply Ukraine with weapons, because, according to him, the country should be able to defend themselves.
“This is good news, because the Ukrainians should be able to defend on its territory,” he said.
We will remind, earlier Walker had declaredthat the establishment by Ukraine of direct contacts with the militants “DNR” and “LNR” only prolong the conflict in the Donbas.
