The banking system went on a holiday schedule
Ukrainian banks passed on the festive schedule. By the end of this week and the next , the banking system will work in some days, extended hours, and directly on holidays generally will not work.
Today and tomorrow, 27 and 28 December, the system of electronic payments (Sep) the National Bank of Ukraine will work in extended mode banking day by two hours. This reports the press service of the regulator.
On Friday, December 29, the last business day of 2017, to 13:00 in the EPAs can only be carried out payments between banking institutions subordinate to the same legal entity and payments directed to the NBU and the Treasury offices. The national Bank and the bodies of the state Treasury can make payments to all participants of SEP. Banking day in the EPAs ends at 15:00.
The first two Mondays of the year, 1 and 8 January 2018, BOT, e-mail system of the National Bank, the Depository of the NBU, the System is CERTIFIED, the System of confirmation of agreements on the interbank currency market of Ukraine, the system for the purchase and sale of credit resources in national currency on interbank credit market of Ukraine “Крединфо2” Automated information system “Register of contracts with nonresidents 2” will not work.
On Tuesday, 2 January 2018, banks will operate without clients and will provide a range of works associated with the new year. Interbank transfers of funds through BOT this day will not be carried out.
3, 4, 5 and 9 January 2018 EPA and the banking system of Ukraine will work in normal mode.
29 December 2017 3 January 2018, inclusive, will operate the official rate of hryvnia to foreign currencies and Bank metals, which the regulator will set on December 28.
NBU also notes that in the period of Christmas and new year holidays, the banks must ensure uninterrupted operation of ATMs, reinforcement them with cash of various denominations for customer service.
