Ukraine increased gas production by almost 4%
For 11 months of 2017, Ukrainian enterprises produced 18 billion 999,4 million cubic meters of gas. This is 3.9% (719,4 million cubic meters) more than in the same period last year.
This was announced by the Ministry of energy and coal industry, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
In particular, enterprises of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” for 11 months gas production increased by 2.8% (408,8 million cubic meters) – up to 14 billion 948,7 million cubic meters including PJSC “Ukrgasdobycha” gas production increased by 4.3% (580,3 million cubic meters) – up to 13 billion 929,2 million cubic meters, while Ukrnafta reduced by 15% (178.9 million cubic meters) – up to 1 billion 12.1 million cubic meters In the current year also recorded the production of PJSC “Chernomorneftegaz” in the amount of 7.4 million cubic meters of gas.

Other oil and gas companies in January-November 2017 have increased gas production by 8.3% (310,6 million cubic meters) compared with the same period of 2016 – up to 4 billion of 50.7 million cubic meters.
Recall, Ukraine in the past year, gas production increased by 0.5% (91,1 million cubic meters) compared to 2015 year – on-year to 19 billion 987,1 mln cubic meters.
Before the government claimed that by 2020 Ukraine will significantly increase gas production and will not buy it abroad.
