In Ukraine officially started the monetization of subsidies. What this means

Today, January 1, in Ukraine officially started the monetization of subsidies. However, so far only at the level of enterprises-providers of services – they will get money from the state.

The corresponding decision of the Cabinet adopted two months ago, on 8 November.

“Monetization of subsidies involves a number of innovations in the payments for subsidy: the calculation directly from the Treasury without any protocols; precise timing of the calculations for subsidies (up to 24); independent selection of executors of services supplier of energy and the calculation of “live” funds from grants; transparent calculation of subsidies for the actual consumption of services”, – explained in the Ministry of Finance.

The next step – preparing the system for implementation of the monetization of subsidies at the household level (the creation of necessary infrastructure, the creation of a unified registry and database of subsidianes and their verification, etc). And then the actual monetization of subsidies at the household level. Launch date of this system for citizens is not yet known.

We will remind, in the autumn of 2017 economical Ukrainians who heat their housing with gas and using electricity has spent partial monetization of subsidies.
