State statistics released inflation figures for 2017
Inflation in Ukraine in 2017 (December 2017 to December 2016) accelerated to 13.7% in comparison with inflation of 12.4% in 2016.This information was provided in the State statistics service of Ukraine.
For 2017, prices in the Ukrainian industry grew by 26.4%. A year earlier the figure was 20.5 per cent. Core inflation in December in annual terms until December 2016, was 9.5%. In comparison with November, she slowed to 0.8% from 1%.

Data of the state statistics do not take into account the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation.

Negative trends relate primarily to food prices, and nonfood items. They in Ukraine are growing faster than in Europe. The rate of inflation for the end of 2017 was the highest among the countries of Europe and CIS. Such information was published by the informational-analytical center Forex Club in Ukraine. Thus, according to analysts, consumer prices in Ukraine since the beginning of the year increased by 13 whole 6 tenths of a percent, while the average price growth in Europe was 2 and 6 percent CIS – 6 as much as 7 tenths of a percent.
