Non-combat losses. The defense Ministry said the number of dead and wounded soldiers in the Donbass

For 2017 in the area of ATO in the Donbas non-combat losses of the Ukrainian Armed forces was 98 dead and 178 wounded.

This was reported in the Ministry of defence, transfers “112 Ukraine”.

Simultaneously, the Ministry did not specify the number of troops who are serving in a combat zone. The defense Ministry said that this information is restricted.

We will remind, Minister of defence Stepan Poltorak declared that in 2017 non-combat losses in the area ATO has decreased five times.

Earlier in the armed forces General staff stated that combat losses in the ranks of Ukrainian soldiers since the beginning of the ATO (April 2014) to the end of October 2017 was 10 710 thousand soldiers, of which 2333 – died. Later, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that for the entire period of the ATO killed more than 2750 Ukrainian soldiers.
