“Offensive statement”: banking expert commented on the findings Kroll at PrivatBank
Independent banking expert Vadim Sereda questioned a number of experts of the international company Kroll on the activities of PrivatBank before its nationalization. In his opinion, the emphasis placed in the report is not objective, says the story TSN.19:30.
“In my opinion, the report made specific accents. I would, for example, abstained from such an odious statement that the development of banking services was created for visibility activities. PrivatBank was really the acting institution on customer service,” – said the expert.

The national Bank published the report of the international company “Krol” on the activity of PrivatBank before its nationalization. Any comments and detailed explanations of representatives of the regulator refused. Meanwhile, there was a reaction of the former shareholders of the Bank.

But voiced report about the alleged frauds in the financial institution before its nationalization in 2016 commented on a former shareholder of PrivatBank Igor Kolomoisky. He called the findings nonsense. “The main question is where and when withdrawn the money? Especially liked the Maxim that the former management worked in the interests of the shareholder. And in whose interests it is supposed to work in the interests of Poroshenko or Gontareva Rozhkova?”, – said the businessman.

Kroll was hired at public expense – the services of this company, on its own TSN, cost the state millions of hryvnia, but the agreement with the exact amounts are classified. Transactions are already interested in the General Prosecutor’s office – at the end of last year the Pechersky court decided to withdraw the Kroll agreement with the national Bank.

Kroll for 40 years has repeatedly appeared in high-profile international scandals, even their detectives were arrested and accused of illegal wiretapping of private telephone conversations, interception of correspondence and bribing officials.
