The Verkhovna Rada has terminated before the beginning of February deputies of the holidays

In the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ended seventh session of Parliament of the eighth convocation. The deputies went on vacation until the 6th of February.

The session was closed by the speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Andrei Parubiy.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada during the opening plenary of the meeting congratulated all with the feast of the Epiphany.

“Let the Jordan water bring cleaning and health to everyone. Christ is baptized! Congratulations to all Ukrainians with a great light holiday,” he said.

At today’s meeting in Parliament was attended by representatives of ministries. The deputies took an hour of questions to the government.

Among the speakers in the Verkhovna Rada acting Minister of health Ulyana Suprun, Minister of culture Yevhen Nyshchuk.

Also today, during the meeting, MPs from the Opposition bloc proposed to repeal was voted for by deputies of the law on “reintegration of Donbass”. This draft resolution was at the initiative of the Chairman of the Opposition bloc Yuriy Boyko, as well as deputies of Alexander Vilkul and Mikhail Papiyev.

With regard to the activities of the deputies during the next session of the eighth Parliament, Parubiy announced the following priority issues: national security and defense, anti-corruption court and laws for the implementation of the Association of Ukraine and the EU.

Recall, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law about de-occupation of Donbass – “On peculiarities of state policy on ensuring state sovereignty of Ukraine on the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions”, which was voted 280 deputies.
