“Not fire not location”. Klimkin explained why the change of negotiations on the Donbass are out of date

The transfer of the place of negotiation regarding settlement of the conflict in the Donbas from Minsk to Astana will have a positive result.

This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“This idea our Kazakh colleagues have expressed. As for me, not working is not the place… If we have a reasonable understanding that change of location is something we give, we are ready to move even in New Zealand… In any place where it will be needed. But really the problem with what’s happening at the Minsk area, is the problem on the part of Russia, the problem of reluctance to perform any of its obligations, and a desire to pervert all the arrangements: when we want to leave all they have in the occupied Donbas, and then extend it to the whole of Ukraine”, – he stressed.

According to Klimkin, the Minsk, Astana or other cities – “it is not the key issue.”

“Any option can be if they will work. Now I don’t see how a transfer Minsk platform in Astana will bring us, if you like, a new positive result,” – said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Earlier, the President of the United States Donald trump in conversation with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed to move from Minsk negotiations on settlement of the conflict in the Donbas. About Nazarbayev said on Thursday at a press conference in new York following the meeting of the UN security Council.
