“Gold bullion is for everyone,” the suspect in the enrichment of 10 million UAH Chapter of Gokudera
The head of the State audit service Lydia Gavrilova, which employees NABOO has officially announced the suspicion in illegal enrichment of nearly 10 million UAH and providing false income declarations, has found an excuse for how she got the gold bars and money.
“Gold bars, I think, in the sense in which I have, is today, every citizen… They are a gift, indeed, they were gifts. Regarding the dollars that they found… part of the funds that were there, it means that I was officially declared… And part of the money I had belonging to others, and this was confirmed by these other individuals when they were invited to the NAB for questioning”, – said Gavrilov in the broadcast channel “112 Ukraine”, writes LB.ua.
She also said that her e-Declaration of assets and income – reliable. Gavrilova said that he owns a flat, “average” in Kiev, so it cannot be deemed illicit enrichment, given its many years of experience.
The Chairman of Gosnautilus confirmed that lives in the same apartment with her ex-husband (he is the owner of the car and two Parking spaces that are not mentioned in the Declaration Gavrilova). Why divorced couples still live in the same apartment, the official did not want to tell the audience, they say, her “private moments”.
Before Gavrilov wrote on his page in Facebook that he believes the charges of illicit enrichment, which brought her to NABOO, “personal revenge” and pressure.
“Unfortunately, our cooperation with the new law enforcement Agency – NABU – has a sad experience, when the leadership of the NAB is trying to compensate for insufficiency of the evidence brought before them Affairs with a view to the interpretation of the results of the inspections for the benefit of NAB pressure on workers to GUS. In addition, the preparation of my subordinates of the inspection report, which refers to the abuse of one of the leaders of NABOO, became a pretext for personal revenge to me,” said Gavrilova.

According to the investigation, the official during the 2015-2017 received in property assets, the legitimacy of the grounds of acquisition which was not confirmed by evidence, and the cost of which greatly exceeds legitimate income. In particular, we are talking about the purchase of real estate objects in Kiev (apartment, two Parking spaces), SUV (2016 release), expensive furniture, technique, gold bullion and cash in the amount of 112.8 thousand U.S. dollars and 8.5 thousand euros, was found and seized by detectives NAB during a search of the apartment at the place of residence of the official.
The detectives NAB also think that Gavrilova had made knowingly false information in the annual e-returns for 2015 (more than 2.86 million UAH) and 2016 (more than 4.67 million UAH). So, it is invalid value of the apartment owned by her in Kiev: 1.06 million instead of the actual almost UAH 2.74 mln UAH. Also not reflected car and two Parking spaces owned by her ex-husband, with whom the family relationship is not actually terminated and, in accordance with paragraph 2 of part 1 of article 46 of the Law of Ukraine “On prevention of corruption”, said property was to be reflected in the annual Declaration.
