In Kyiv because of the flu quarantined closed 36 schools.
This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the KSCA Nicholas Povoroznik, reports “Radio Freedom”.
“As of yesterday (7 February – approx.ed.) in Kiev went into quarantine 36 schools and about 360 classes taken separately. Usually, forced vacations last about a week,” he said.
According to Poworoznik, a temporary restriction is a measure.
“Close schools on quarantine to ensure that children at least a week not in contact with each other, if there are signs of morbidity by more than 20% of those present in the class”, – explained the Deputy Chairman of the KSCA.
In addition Povoroznik noted that this year in Kiev, an unprecedented number of people vaccinated.
“Almost 30 times more than last year, but, unfortunately, we are talking about approximately 30-35 thousand vaccinated”, he added, noting that in Ukraine, except for relatively loyal of the flu virus”, also circulating H1N1 virus, which can cause complications and lead to death of the patient.
