In “Batkivshchyna” denied Tymoshenko concealment of information about her husband’s business in the Czech Republic

The husband of the leader of the party “Fatherland” Yulia Tymoshenko – Alexander does not hide income and do not violate Ukrainian legislation.

This was stated by the press service of the party “Batkivshchyna”.

“Yulia Tymoshenko never hid the fact that her husband has a business, he receives the income and works in the Czech Republic. All also remember that at the time of Yanukovych Oleksandr Tymoshenko was forced to seek political asylum in the Czech Republic and conducted human rights activities on the territory of the country. In the declarations of Yulia Tymoshenko for the 2015-2016 reflects all data in relation to Oleksandr Tymoshenko, including the income derived from the territory of the Czech Republic”, – stated in the message.

Also in the party confirmed that Oleksandr Tymoshenko is indeed a member of the public organization “Fatherland Prague”, which is mentioned in the investigation Bihus.info and noted that existing Ukrainian legislation does not envisage the need for relatives of politicians to specify the members or shareholders which are public organizations they are.

“Any income from this organization Oleksandr Tymoshenko never got and could not”, – assured in “Batkivshchyna”.

At the same time, the party explained why the Declaration does not contain information about the Czech firm with the Guinean founder, which deals with rental properties.

“Oleksandr Tymoshenko is neither the founder nor the owner nor the beneficiary of this company and did not receive income from this company. Besides information about the company are public and are in public register of enterprises of the Czech Republic and never hid Alexander Timoshenko”, – said in a statement.

In addition, the party said that one of the addresses listed in the investigation, is the address of the apartment in which Oleksandr Tymoshenko lived before but ceased to use it until the period of the Declaration, and at a different location the house is located, which is in its ownership.

“In the investigation, “Bigus.info” doesn’t say anything about any concealment of income. We are talking about information that does not relate to the revenue and with respect to which Ukrainian legislation does not put forward clear requirements on the Declaration. Note also that during the preparation of this investigation, the authors of “Bigus.info” did not apply for review or to press Secretary of Yulia Tymoshenko, nor the press service of the party “Fatherland”, – concluded in the party.
