Invaders in the Donbas create special units to suppress civil disobedience – exploring
Russian occupation authorities create the Donbas special units to suppress the stock of civil disobedience.
This was announced at a briefing press Secretary of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine on ATO Colonel Dmitry Gutsulyak.
“According to information from the Main intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of defence of Ukraine, the Russian occupation authorities with the aim of strengthening control over the population in the temporarily occupied territories of Eastern Ukraine are taking measures to create new so-called “paramilitary structures or units of protection” with the so-called “police powers”. It is assumed that the main task of these units will be under the pretext of protecting public order suppress any civil disobedience, ” said Gutsulyak.
He noted that the acquisition of new structures in personnel is due to the so-called “reservists” who have been charged with duties in the occupied territories in January-February this year.
