Ukraine for the first time in the last year have increased gas extraction from storage facilities
On 25 February Ukraine increased gas extraction from storage facilities.
This was announced by adviser to the Minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine Maxim bielawski.
According to him, the increase of gas extraction occurred through a significant cold snap. If the daily gas consumption 25 February last year amounted to 138 million “cubes”, now 170 million.
The selection of gas from storage facilities increased by 7% – to 101 million cubic meters. This mode for the first time in the last year, said bielawski.
The remaining needs are covered by gas domestic production (57 million cubic meters) and imports from Europe (16 million cubic meters).
