After the decision of the arbitration Russia refused to sell gas to Ukraine and returned the money

Russian “Gazprom” will supply gas to “Naftogaz of Ukraine” from March 1. He also returned the money which she paid to a Ukrainian company.

This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Board “Gazprom” Alexander Medvedev, reports TASS.

“Gazprom” does receive money from the “Naftogaz of Ukraine” payment for March deliveries of gas. However, as they say, expensive egg to the day of Christ. Today is not agreed upon additional agreement to the existing contract with NAK “Naftogaz of Ukraine” for supply of gas needed for start of deliveries. Therefore, in this situation, we, acting in a bona fide manner, returned in full the amount received from “Naftogaz of Ukraine”. It is obvious that the supply of gas from March 1, the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” will not take place”, – Medvedev said.

We will remind, Ukraine is obliged to resume the purchase of gas in Russia in accordance with the decision of the Stockholm arbitration.
