The Director of one of the enterprises, the General Prosecutor’s office of Ukraine declared suspicion in the theft of “Kyoto” money. About it reports a press-Department service.

The investigation revealed that in 2009-2010, Ukraine has received a 470 million euros on projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In 2012-2014, officials of the state enterprises, entered into a criminal conspiracy among themselves and officers and beneficial owners of private enterprises, other persons, by drawing up false documents on the volume and value of construction work done in heatsanitation of objects of the social sphere took possession of “Kyoto” money.

Conducted during the investigation, the examinations set the size of the caused losses worth more than UAH 8 mln. Now the issue concerning election to the suspect of a preventive measure.

Recall that in early 2016, the leadership and officials of the Ministry of ecology was suspected of trying to steal more than half a billion hryvnia from the Kyoto Protocol. The deal failed to stop. The leadership of the Ministry of environment has been fired, right then head guilt is not recognized.
