The interior Minister of Ukraine accused of obstructing the holding of “elections”.

The Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov three words reacted to the decision of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to initiate a criminal case against him.

“I serve the Ukrainian people!”, – Avakov wrote on his Twitter page, attaching a link to the news about the opening of the case.

We will remind, the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov. He is accused that he “prevented the free exercise of Russian citizens of their electoral rights in the elections of the President of Russia”.

That the Minister has decided to blame the fact that the officers “did not permit the citizens of the Russian Federation at the polling stations, which were located on the territory of Ukraine” in Kiev, Lviv, Odessa and Kharkiv.

The Russian presidential election the Ukrainian government has recognized illegitimate because they were conducted on the territory of the occupied Crimea and Sevastopol. The Verkhovna Rada adopted the decree “About the statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on non-recognition by Ukraine of the legitimacy of the election of the President of the Russian Federation on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol”. For the same reasons, the election results are not recognized by many European countries.

Note that the Russian SK previously filed a case against the former Minister of defence of Ukraine Anatoly Gritsenko in “calls to terrorist activities in Moscow and Taganrog.” Also the UK has opened a criminal case against the leaders of “Right sector”. In addition, RF IC still believes Yarosh, one of the leaders of the SS, although he had long left the organization and established their new political force – the National movement “civil initiative jarosz ( Yarosh Derzhavniki Initsiativa – DA)”.
