According to klympush-Tsintsadze, Ukraine will offer Russia to send consuls in Rostov-on-don.

Ukraine is going to submit a proposal for the direction of the consuls in the Russian Rostov-on-don, where illegally detained Ukrainians.

This was stated by Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze in the air “5 channel”.

“We will submit our proposal to send its Consul in Rostov-on-don. We understand we have a need to ensure that our consuls were in Rostov. Due to the fact that five of them sent from Russia, it is important for us today to protect citizens who are now or were in the prisons of the Russian Federation, or simply are in the territory of the Russian Federation. Therefore, we must submit their proposals,” she said.

According to klympush-Tsintsadze, in the simplest scenario that can be predicted, it is likely that Russia will mirror back the same number of Russian diplomats from Ukraine.

“Whether it’s exchange? I do not perceive the possibility of replacing diplomats in one or the other in the quantities in which they were sent”, she added.

In addition klympush-Tsintsadze assured that Ukraine will act in the matter of admission or expulsion of Russian diplomats in cooperation with the Western partners.

“We will act in collaboration with partners by far. It will not be a separate step in the Ukraine, which alone will decide these issues on a bilateral level with Russia. We joined the common action of Western civilization with respect to the removal of the so-called diplomats of the Russian Federation, and in fact spies, and so it does not move, the broader international context we will continue to act in an international context”, – concluded the Deputy Prime Minister.

Recall, March 14, Prime Minister Theresa may announced the expulsion of 23 diplomats of the Russian Federation and the cancellation of the visit of Russian foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to the country from-for poisonings in Salisbury, the former Russian spy Sergei Skripal.
