“The railway line will pass between the fence of the airport and access road. The station will be in the end of terminal D, on the left side, if facing the terminal. The platform will be connected by a covered gallery with the terminal. Passengers can walk to the terminal for 2.5 minutes,” – said Ryabikin about the project.

“This is the first phase of the project. In the second stage it is provided that near the terminal D will exit where the railway line will go under ground and go to the new terminal. It is a distant prospect, when the terminal D is connected with galleries with the terminals B and F”, – he said.

Work should begin June 1, and the project meets the “Ukrzaliznytsya”.

Earlier, in March, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the implementation of the construction of high-speed railway line between Kyiv and the international airport “Borispol”. Trains will run from the station “Kiev-Passenger” through the “vidubichi” to terminal D, which you need to complete only 4 kilometers of the railway. Journey time – 35 minutes, ticket price is 80 to 120 UAH.
