National anti-corruption Bureau did not offer MP-fugitive Alexander Onishchenko to make a “deal with the investigation” without the consent of the prosecutors of the anticorruption Prosecutor’s office.

This is stated in the press service of NABOO.

“Statements that supposedly National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine has offered the people’s Deputy Alexander Onishchenko, who, according to the investigation, is the organizer of large-scale corruption “gas scheme”, to make a “deal with the investigation” without the knowledge of prosecutors SAP do not correspond to reality”, – stated in the message.

According to NABU, the lawyers Onishchenko repeatedly with September 2016 tried to agree about cooperation in exchange for compensation of losses and provision of evidence against other officials. However, the Agency responded to the lawyers of the fugitive, which is an exclusive competence of the Prosecutor’s office.
