The Ukrainian President is in Turkey on a working visit.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his visit to Turkey met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
About it reports a press-service of the Ukrainian President.
The leaders discussed a free trade agreement between Ukraine and Turkey, stressing the importance of completing the negotiations on the conclusion of the document.

Poroshenko and Erdogan discussed the organization of the next meeting within the framework of the Ukrainian-Turkish Strategic Council of high level, and also the initiative to hold a trilateral summit in the format of Ukraine–Turkey–Azerbaijan.
Poroshenko thanked his Turkish counterpart for supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity and protection of the rights of the Crimean Tatars. The Ukrainian leader has called on erdoğan to assist in the liberation of the Ukrainian hostages.
The politicians also discussed ways to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation in energy, aviation and defence sectors.
