The cost has fallen by almost 50 dollars.
The average cost of gas, which Ukraine buys in Europe, in may of this year amounted to $ 260 (6806,4 UAH) per thousand cubic meters.
Such data are the Ministry of economic development, citing data from the State fiscal service, writes UNIAN.
In April, the price was of 309.9 dollar is the highest since may 2015.
Recall, Ukraine for two years is not buying gas directly from Russia. Deliveries take place only from Europe. Meanwhile, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko hopes to receive gas from Azerbaijan through Romania.
