President Petro Poroshenko calls on the Parliament to adopt amendments to the Constitution concerning the abolition of immunity of MPs.

He stated this on Thursday during a speech on the occasion of the Constitution Day near the monument to Pylyp Orlyk in Kiev.

The President noted that he sees “no reason to delay the abolition of parliamentary immunity”.

He recalled that on 20 June, the constitutional Court approved the presidential bill on amendments to the Constitution in the privacy of the members.
