State statistics cited data on the costs of citizens in may.

The debt of Ukrainian citizens on payment of Central heating and hot water in may 2018 decreased by 7.5% compared to the previous month. The amount of debt of the population amounted to 12.3 billion hryvnia, UNIAN reports, citing data from the State statistics service of Ukraine.

However, the arrears in the maintenance of houses, constructions and house adjoining territories in the period increased by 8.8% and amounted to 3,7 billion UAH. Debts for centralized water supply and drainage system increased by 31.6% compared to April and amounted to 2.5 billion hryvnias. The population also remain outstanding 3.9 billion UAH for electricity and 500 million UAH for the removal of household waste.
