The Metropolitan government has imposed a ban temporarily.

In Kiev on agricultural and seasonal fairs temporarily forbidden to sell fish, meat and dairy products.

About it reported in Department of industry and entrepreneurship of Kyiv city state administration, Recalling that at the meeting the decision.

“We are talking about a ban of realization of fresh meat and meat products, sausage and meat products, milk and dairy products, fish, fresh, frozen, smoked, dried, and food, the conditions of implementation which require compliance with temperature +6°C”, – noted in Department.

As noted, a temporary ban for trade fairs, organizers of which are the municipal enterprise subordinated to the relevant Department of the state administration and district state administrations.

“Food security of Kiev requires to make informed and responsible decisions. To prevent outbreaks of acute intestinal infections, food poisoning among consumers in the Metropolitan fairs – the duty of the organizers of the fair. The ban is temporary and valid till the receipt of clarification from the Department of Gospodarevskaya regarding transportation, sale and storage of products that are perishable,” said the Director of the Department of industry and entrepreneurship Andrey Melnichuk.

Also in the KSCA said that the organizers should not be allowed to sell at fairs products has not passed veterinary-sanitary expertise and without the presence of documents on the passage and confirmation of its safety and quality.

Separately asserts that on the status of the organizers and seasonal agricultural fairs will report to the relevant Department every Monday.
