The foreign Ministry of Ukraine event 4 years ago called the terrible terrorist attack.

European and Ukrainian diplomats simultaneously made statements on the fourth anniversary of the attack on flight MH17. On behalf of the EU did the high representative for foreign policy Federica Mogherini, and other text distributed to the press service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Mogherini called this day a reminder of the grief of people who lost in the tragedy of their loved ones, and expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims. The document also refers to support for the EU resolution of the UN Security Council that “demands to bring to justice all perpetrators of MH17, which occurred on July 17, 2014, and calls upon all States to cooperate fully in order to establish the perpetrators.”

In a clearing in front of people put white chairs in the number of fatalities. Put them in the same way as were the seats on the plane. Some of the chairs were red roses. The protest was completely silent, with only one sign “Justice for MH17”.

European diplomat noted the work of investigators and the results obtained give grounds to assert that “the Buk missile system that shot down MH17, no doubt belonged to the armed forces of the Russian Federation”. “We continue to call upon the Russian Federation to accept responsibility and to cooperate fully to establish accountability for,” said Mogherini.

Ukrainian diplomats in his statement called on July 17 as the date of committing the “terrible terrorist act” and expressed condolences to all those whose relatives were killed in the crash. Bringing to justice the perpetrators of the tragedy, the authors of the statement called “the joint duty and matter of honor”, and the work of the international Commission – “heavy and hard”.

“It has been established that the missile system “Buk” that shot down MH17 belonged to the 53rd brigade of the air defense of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, was illegally delivered to Ukraine through the uncontrolled section of the Ukrainian-Russian state border and hurriedly taken back into Russia after the shooting down of the plane”, – reminded in Kiev. Diplomats believe such actions are a criminal offence and a violation of international law, because Ukraine has already appealed to the UN for this reason.
