PJSC “Ukrtelecom” has appealed to the National Commission, carrying out state regulation in the sphere of communications and Informatization (NCCIR), with a request to increase tariffs for fixed telephony.

This was stated press Secretary of the company Mikhail Shuranov, writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“We appealed to the Governor with a request to consider an increase in marginal rates. We are talking about the fall, about November. We grow expenses, respectively, there are prerequisites to increase,” he said.

According to Shuranova, the operator began to ask the regulator raising the ceiling tariffs for the fixed telephony 14% from 1 November 2018 and another 10% from January 2019 due to the rising cost of connections in rural areas.

Also, a company spokesman noted that we are talking about raising the monthly fee for a few hryvnia, and now the most expensive package of “Ukrtelecom” is approximately 73 UAH.

Recall that “Ukrtelecom” from may 30% increased the monthly fee for cable radio. From August 1 this year, the company will cease to repair and technically to serve receivers of terrestrial broadcasting, and to ensure simultaneous interpretation and dubbing in the indoor and outdoor space at the request of the consumer.
