In Kiev recorded two cases of botulism.
This was stated by the Director of the Department of health Valentyna Ginzburg, the press service of the KSCA.
“In the infectious diseases ward in oleksandrivska clinical hospital there are two patients with this infectious disease,” she said.
According to Ginzburg, were both used fish caught and cured by yourself.
“All that is necessary to do not to get botulism is to abandon the use of dangerous (especially in warm season products. Such products, in particular fish (salted, dried and smoked), home canning (especially vegetables and mushrooms), ham, sausage,” explained the medic.
We will remind, in Ukraine as of July 16, 2018 botulism have died five people. The last case recorded in the Zaporozhye region.
