In legal red tape due to the liquidated Bank Yanukovych “FBG” was the final decision.
The Supreme court of Ukraine confirmed the conclusions of the courts of previous instances on the unreasonableness of the claim of Alexander Yanukovychand as a shareholder of PJSC “Ukrainian Bank of development” to the National Bank for damages in the amount of UAH 1.6 billion.
This was announced on Friday, August 3, the press service of Azbuka.

“The Supreme court ruling of 20 June 2018 has left the appeal of Yanukovych Alexander Viktorovich dismissed, and the decree of the Appellate court in Kiev on March 6, 2018 and the decision of the Pechersk district court of Kyiv dated 14 November 2017 in case No. 757/46587/17-TS – unchanged”, – stated in the message .
We will remind, Alexander Yanukovych in August 2017, appealed to the National Bank of Ukraine claims for damages in connection with the withdrawal from the market of PJSC “Ukrainian Bank of development”, the shareholder of which he is. By results of consideration of the case, the court came to the conclusion about the absence of grounds for satisfaction of the claim.

In January 2016, the Supreme administrative court of Ukraine confirmed the lawfulness of the adoption by the national Bank decree “On placing Public joint stock company “Ukrainian Bank for development” insolvent” on November 27, 2014 No. 743.
The national Bank took this decision in connection with the application by the Council of the European Union sanctions to Alexander Yanukovych and to protect the interests of depositors and other creditors of the Bank,
Later, on December 21 2015, the national Bank liquidated the Bank.
