The foreign trade deficit of Ukraine increased by 13 times.
In the second quarter of the GDP of Ukraine grew by 3.6% in annual terms. In the first quarter was 3.1 percent.
Such data are cited by the State statistics service, reports UNIAN.
Ukraine’s GDP in the second quarter compared with the previous quarter adjusted for seasonal factors increased by 0.9% in the first quarter of the same dimension.
At the same time, the foreign trade deficit of Ukraine in the first half rose 13 – fold to 653,1 million dollars. Over the same period last year amounted to 48.7 million dollars. Imports of goods and services in Ukraine grew by 13.5 percent to 28,469 billion dollars, export – by 11.1%, to 27,816 billion.

In late July, the national Bank has published its estimates according to which external balance of goods and services of Ukraine in January-June 2018 has been reduced to a deficit of 3,806 billion, which is 23.7% higher than the deficit for the same period in 2017 3,078 billion.
We will remind, according to the State statistics service, the foreign trade balance of Ukraine for 2017 deficit to 2,625 billion against $ 541,6 million dollars of the surplus for the previous year. The national Bank estimated the trade deficit in goods and services of Ukraine in 2017 6,848 billion dollars, which is 25.2% more of the deficit for the year 2016.
