The national Bank of Ukraine expects to receive new tranche from the International monetary Fund by the end of fall 2018.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the national Bank Oleg Churiy, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“Our forecast — we will be able to negotiate with the IMF. In our forecast, we are laying the tranche until the end of autumn in the amount of approximately $ 2 billion,” he said during the “round table” in Kyiv on August 28.
Curi noted that obtaining another loan from the IMF will allow Ukraine to attract funds from other international financial organizations and the EU, and also sell Eurobonds at low rates. In the end it will help Ukraine to pay foreign debts.
