Through the Kyiv customs cash money has sold about 580 tons of clothes and shoes of various enterprises and institutions.
The Prosecutor of the Kiev region revealed 580 tons of humanitarian aid, which the charity has sold to companies, instead of free to pass it on vulnerable people.
About it reported in a press-service of Prosecutor’s office of Kiev region.
“Officials of one of the charitable funds of the Region in 2015-2016 through the Kyiv customs office of the SFS carried out the import of humanitarian 580 tons of clothes and shoes, which are actually implemented in a hidden way for cash to entrepreneurs and enterprises from different regions of the state”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that the cover-up such illegal activities by employees of the charity Fund was carried out by submission to the Ministry of social policy of Ukraine false data on ostensibly carried out distribution of humanitarian supplies among the socially unprotected layers of the population, representatives of the volunteer movement, orphanages, religious organizations.
The Prosecutor added that during the searches were seized source documents, rough notes on the sale for commercial purposes of charitable assistance, computer equipment and two containers of humanitarian goods.
This fact was a criminal case under article “Evasion from payment of taxes, charges (obligatory payments)”, pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
