Last year GDP fell by 10%.
In 2016 the economy of Ukraine grew by 1.5%.
This preliminary figure is called the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman during a meeting with students of the National technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Igor Sikorsky” on Friday, December 23, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“We this year will have a growth of about 1.5%, whereas last year 10% decrease, 43% inflation”, – said the head of government.

Groisman noted that in 2017 Ukraine’s GDP will grow at a faster pace. In the state budget for 2017 laid down the economic growth at 3%.
Recall, according to forecasts of the national Bank, Ukraine’s GDP at the end of 2016 is expected to grow by 1.1%.
