To feed in a new way: the Cabinet has decided on a fundamental reform of the power in the Ukrainian army

The defense Ministry has the right to purchase products.

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the resolution “Some issues of procurement of food products by the Ministry of defence”. It is about a fundamental reform of the system of supply of the Ukrainian military personnel.

This was stated by Advisor to the President and assistant to the defense Minister Yury Biryukov in Facebook.

According to him, this is the first institutional reform for 10 years.

The Ministry of defense of Ukraine now has the right to purchase products, use the product catalog (348 positions), make changes in this catalog and to determine what military units will be powered with the companies-outsourcers, and some with full-time cooks. Biryukov added that over the “breaking the walls” as four firms-breadwinners worked as a team for two years.

From April 2017 the planned starts and the peaceful transfer of the APU in the new power system, new rules, new approaches and new products.

We will add that earlier the Minister of defence Stepan Poltorak announced the cancellation of 395 of accepted orders, which hindered the implementation of reforms in the defence sector.
