Candidates for the post passed the tests for knowledge of the law.
Contest the post of Chairman of Kyiv regional state administration was won by the incumbent Chairman of the Vyshgorodsky district state administration Alexander Gorgan.

Alexander Gorgan won by a large margin. Candidates for the position passed the tests on knowledge of legislation and passed the interview. In the contest for the post of head of Kyiv regional state administration there were 5 finalists.
The decree appointing the Chairman of governors must be signed by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko after approval by the Cabinet. Alexander Gorgon heads the Vyshgorodsky district state administration in March 2015. Prior to that (2005-2010) he was a member of Vyshgorod city Council of IV convocation.

We will remind that earlier employees of national police and Prosecutor General’s office detained for bribery of the Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv regional state administration Igor Platanthera.
About this on his page in Facebook said the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.
According to the Minister, Platanthera caught for extortion and receiving a bribe of 200 thousand UAH from his subordinate. Avakov said that a mediator in the crime was the head of the Department of health of Kyiv regional state administration Yuri Pedenko.
