Ukraine has imposed sanctions against some importers of fuel, who financed the “LDNR”
Ukraine of 18 March 2017 imposes sanctions against a number of major importers of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and petroleum products, suspected them of financing the Pro-Russian separatists in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of economic development of Ukraine.
It is noted that the February 6, 2017 based on the performance of the security Service of Ukraine, Ministry of economic development has applied a special sanction in some importers of fuel and lubricants.

“The security service of Ukraine found that enterprises, which have been applied sanctions, imported to the customs territory of Ukraine fuel originating from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. Thus, according to the SBU, with the purpose of accumulation of funds in the accounts of “offshore” structures, evasion of taxes and duties to the state budget of Ukraine, the company used the scheme of “indirect” foreign import contracts with counterparties registered in countries with privileged tax regime”, – stated in the message.
In addition, according to the SBU, the funds transferred by some importers of fuel and lubricants to non-residents registered in “offshore” jurisdictions, partially used to Finance illegal armed formations on the territory of the temporarily occupied districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine.
