Poroshenko called for tougher sanctions against Russia for recognition “passports” ORDO
The recognition of fake documents, “LNR” and “DNR” Russia is the actual refusal of the Minsk agreements and demands the strengthening of sanctions against Russia.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
During the meeting with the EU Commissioner for humanitarian aid and crisis management Stylianides Christ, the head of state stressed that the decision of the Russian Federation on the recognition of documents of the occupants cynical.
“We are now seeing repeated violations of the Minsk agreements. We not only see violations of the cease-fire, but a completely cynical decision on the recognition of fake documents, the fake republics”, – quotes Poroshenko his press service.

He added that the response to such actions should be decisive steps and the strengthening of sanctions against Russia.
“From the point of view of international law is already an element of recognition of these illegal groups and, de facto, refusal of the Minsk process, because these actions are incompatible with the implementation of the Minsk agreements. We believe that this is a very disturbing phenomenon, and it requires decisive action until the strengthening of sanctions”, – said the President of Ukraine.
Stylianides, who has just returned from the frontline Maori, clearly stressed that the EU continues to fully support Ukraine and to make significant diplomatic efforts for the full implementation by Russia of the Minsk agreements.
We will remind that on February 18, the second day of the Munich security conference where world leaders urged Russia to fulfill the Minsk agreements and de-escalation of the conflict in the Donbass, the press service of the Kremlin announced the signing by Vladimir Putin of the decree about recognition of the so-called “passports” ARDLA.
President Petro Poroshenko said in response that while recognizing the “passport”, “DNR” and “LNR”, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin once again confirmed that the occupation of Donbass under the control of the militants-separatists, and the Kremlin directly.
