Since the beginning of the Russian offensive in the Ukraine killed more than 2.6 thousand Ukrainian military.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a rapid collection of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“2608 Ukrainian servicemen were killed during the aggression,” – he stressed.
According to Poroshenko, 2200 dead were in the Armed forces of Ukraine.

“Thanks to the heroism of the soldiers, the patriotism of Ukrainian citizens, thanks to the efforts of diplomats, the Russian invasion was stopped”, – said the head of state and called to honor the memory of the soldiers with a minute of silence.
We will remind, earlier the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported that since the beginning of armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine on 20 February 2014 killed more than 9,800 people and about 23 thousand were wounded. Terrible figures show that this unprincipled war of the Kremlin against the Ukrainian people, – said the Ukrainian diplomats.
