In Bahmut, ex-law enforcement helped to detain the militants, who in 2014 “passed” his “MGB DNR”
In the Bakhmut detained a former militant, who at the beginning of the ATO in the Donbas “surrendered” Ukrainian police “MGB DNR”.
This was reported in the city police Department in Donetsk region.
“Being in the city near the market, he identified a former police officer, whose ex-militant imprisoned and kept in captivity, and reported to the police,” – said in the message.
As it turned out, previously convicted for theft, 41-year-old resident of Bakhmut in June 2014, he voluntarily joined the ranks of militants who operated in the territory of Debaltsevo. The rookie served weapons at the roadblock on the highway Kharkov-Rostov-dovzhanskiy and took part in the fighting.

While on duty at the entrance to the occupied village of Lugansk, checking another car, the gunman learned in passengers in civilian clothes law enforcement officers and “arrested” them, and later transferred the prisoners to the “MGB DNR”.

Law enforcement officers during a search of his place of residence found the weapon with which the ex-militant was carrying a service: SKS carbine 7.62 mm revolver, almost two hundred rounds of 7.62 mm and 5.45 mm, and an RGD-5 grenade with a fuse.
Currently, investigations are continuing on documenting his illegal activities against the peaceful Ukrainian population.
